On September 30, 2023, State Liaison Maria Geffers (Pennsylvania Moms for America) attended the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee meeting held at Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, representing Moms for America. As a past state committee member, Maria used this perfect opportunity to renew acquaintances and network with committee members from all over the state to introduce Moms for America and our mission statement of empowering moms, promoting liberty, and raising patriots.

Inspiring words from Maria, “For the next few years, education will be on everyone’s radar, and this is a perfect opportunity for moms to take the lead and be an important influencer.”

On October 5, 2023, over 40 people from Monroe County Patriots and the Poconos gathered to watch the docudrama, “Gender Confusion: The Untold Realities.” The event examined the complex issues surrounding gender confusion, transgenderism, and potentially dangerous implications for children, as well as, the information every mom need to be aware of the extremism being peddled to kids in schools around the country. The planting of the seed of transgender confusion. The docudrama was powerful and touched many emotions in the room, no one was left untouched.

Like all educators, you never leave people in an emotional state without tools to work with. State Liaison, Maria Geffer (Pennsylvania Moms for America) suggested that her members become more educated by examining the “GenderBread Man” that is being used in many primary and elementary schools to plant the seed of “being born in the wrong body.” Maria also suggested another tool called, “Mama Bear Apologetics: Empowering Your Kids to Challenge Cultural Lies” by Hillary Morgan Ferrer.

The event closed with a prayer for strength, protection for their students, and a call to know what is going on in our schools. This is why Maria Geffer believes that the Certified School Board Ambassador program is so important. In the words of Maria, “Thank you, Monroe County Patriots and Moms for America for having the courage to shine the light on this tragedy happening in our schools to our children and remember: Be the Salt and the Light! Matthew 5:13.”

On October 9, 2023, State Liaison Maria Geffers (Pennsylvania Moms for America) participated in the “Walk for Life” event to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The center is a nonprofit ministry with a mission to reach women and families in need. Services that will be provided are: Prenatal care, Life Steps Earn while you learn, Post Abortion Counseling and Fatherhood Initiative. It was a joyous event that involved everyone from toddlers playing in the puddles, to lots of fur babies, to entire families and senior citizens. Moms for America was proud to be of the many sponsors that supported this important event.

On January 23, 2024, State Liaison, Maria Geffers (Pennsylvania Moms for America) hosted her own zoom presentation Introducing Moms for America to the Pennsylvania Patriot Coalition.

On the weekend of April 6 and 7, 2024, State Liaison Maria Geffers (Pennsylvania Moms for America) set up a Moms for America table at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference. While Maria was there, she was interviewed by WFYL 1180- The Freedom Station; she was able to talk about Moms for America and the mission of the organization as well as her group Pennsylvania Moms for America.

On April 26, 2024, State Liaison Maria Geffers (Pennsylvania Moms for America) highlighted the significance of supporting and educating mothers at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference. Maria emphasized the challenges faced by stay-at-home and homeschooling mothers, advocating for their empowerment through understanding governance and constitutional rights. Maria also touches into other issues that are going on in the school system and society and emphasizes the importance of being a mom and how Moms for America can help so many women realize their true potential.
