On a bright and sunny Saturday morning, NW Harris County Moms for America Action partnered with NW Harris County Precinct Alliance to register voters and hand out Trump Yard signs for their third event in a week. Even though the temperatures were near 100 degrees, patriot men, women and a future voter met at one of the busiest intersections in the community. Hundreds of cars either stopped, waved or honked in support! But the greatest news were the stories of the four individuals who had never voted before and wanted to register saying they had to get involved because of the economy, border and energy policies of the current administration. Others stopped by to pick up signs and asked how they could get involved in working elections! We were able to provide contact information to sign up. Thank you, Patriot Moms and Dads, you are making a difference!

Judi DeHaan, Texas Mom Vote and Walk-a-thon Coordinator and NW Harris County Group Leader along with Texas State Director, Teresa Thomas, saw a need for a precinct chair support system after several years of feedback from these elected officials. Because the role of precinct chair is critical as the first level of government in a community, and as both Moms for America members serve as precinct chairs, the NW Harris County Precinct Alliance was formed. The planning began in January 2024 and has culminated in providing precinct chairs with introduction letters for block walking, an area newsletter that precinct chairs can send out to their constituents, on-site training with block walking, phone banking, and texting apps, dates and addresses of polling locations, just to mention a few resources. The alliance serves to provide all needed resources collected and placed on one site including graphic designed fliers with commentary vetted by candidates that are readily available for block walking. New precinct chairs can call upon others to help block walk or contact voters in their area creating a buddy system. The alliance has begun community pop-up tents to provide voter registration, candidates signs and election worker information. It has been great to see how the precinct chairs have come together to help each other get out the vote to save their communities, state and America!
