On August 5, 2023, State Liaison Tara Neilson (Illinois Moms for America) spoke at a nonpartisan event in Moline, Illinois called Libertea fest. Tara quotes, “I was blessed to be able to share all about Moms for America organization as the State Liaison.”

On December 11, 2023, State Liaison Tara Neilsen (Illinois Moms for America) met with other groups and political groups within McHenry County. They all shared a bit about each group and what they are working on, so that they can help each other in their efforts. All these groups are working toward a common goal of helping Illinois stay focused on faith, family, freedom, truth, and the constitution. Tara was proud to share information about Moms for America and the coalition with Parents Matter Coalition and the FCC Standards Bill on behalf of Moms for America Action. Tara connected with another group and made an appointment to go and speak to their group and collect signatures for their Ballot Initiative.

On December 18, 2023, State Liaison, Tara Neilsen (Illinois Moms for America) promoted Illinois Moms for America and their Ballot Initiative with Parents Matter Coalition at an event in Algonquin, Illinois. Illinois Moms for America must get 500,000 signatures to get this on their ballot. Tara believes they can do it because it begins with the first and they completed that!

January 4, 2024, State Liaison, Tara Neilsen (Illinois Moms for America) traveled 2.5 hours away from her hometown to Erie, Whiteside County, Illinois, where she visited a breakfast club group. Tara shared with the group about Moms for America. She also got to socialize and celebrate with a World War 2 Veteran named Ken, who was turning 100 years old. Tara is so excited to share about Moms for America and help individuals see our vision of saving America.

On August 2, 2024, Illinois Moms for America and Breakthrough Ideas went to see a private viewing of the movie, “Sound of Hope”. Deb Kraulidis (Vice President of Moms for America) comments, “it was an incredible inspiring movie and amazing true story.”
