From June 17th to June 20th, 2024, Nelida Sprunt (Pima County Moms for America) put together a Patriotic story time camp at her neighborhood library, Esmond Station Pima County Library. Each day children and their parents came to listen to patriotic books about Freedom, Liberty and how to be a patriot. They participated in different types of crafts, sang patriotic songs and learned about the United States National Anthem. On the last day the children had a parade. Nelida invited a United States veteran and his wife, Debbie to come. Debbie is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution group; she brought two American flags that have been in her family for three generations. One flag has 13 stars that represented the colonies and the other had 48 stars.
