Sunday, October 20th, 2024, Jessica Jagod, leader of the Downriver Moms for America, Michigan Chapter, hosted a Fireside Liberty Chat with the local community.Â
Guest speakers included Heather Smiley, who is running for U.S. House of Representatives in Michigan. Heather spoke of Title 9, her belief in supporting The Constitution and bringing common sense policies back to our county.Â
Billie Schultz, a representative from Moms for Liberty, shared the protection option for students over the gender confusion battle in the public school.Â
Terri Biegas shared on how to prep in an emergency.Â
Jessica Palmer, a homeschool graduate and new entrepreneur, sold her own sticker collection.Â
Jessica Jagod, the Downriver Moms for America Leader, spoke about the possibility of losing our freedom in this country. She asked everyone to think as if we were in a tavern in 1776 and meeting to figure out how to stop tyranny.
Jessica further discussed each individual’s civic duty and how we as individuals can serve in this world as the light in the darkness. I asked them to become the Paul Revere in their circles and to vocalize the urgency to vote and get engaged. Jessica concluded with a call to action, asking what is the least they could do to help save our Republic. If they accepted the challenge, they took a lit candle to remind them they are the light in the darkness.Â
