Monday, January 13, 2025.  The Downriver Moms Group held their Elementary Liberty Club meeting. The topic was Ladies First. They had a discussion about the importance of mothers in the family. The students shared with the group the difference between respect and disrespect in relationships. The students got to see examples of momma animals taking care of their babies. The Kindergartners and First Graders played Mother May I. The Second and Third Graders played Following the Leader/Copy cat. The Fourth and Fifth Graders played a matching game learning about amazing women who influenced society during the Revolutionary War. The students were sent off with directive to hug and thank their moms!​
