In February 2024, Jessica Jagod’s Downriver Moms for America group and their Elementary Liberty club played a game of passing a bean bag with different scenarios. This game was to demonstrate the need to slow down when doing things. The point of the game was to show how the founders intended the three separate powers of government to be balanced. If one person (Dictator) ruled the land, the people would not be represented.

In March 2024, The Downriver Moms for America group had their middle and high school liberty club meet. They played current event trivia. They won prizes as they learn about current laws, bills getting passed and of course current culture. Jessica Jagod also split them into groups for each to read an article and answer a couple of questions. The articles were about the word “Bloodbath”, the American Cancer Society citing studies stating conservatives are giving the LGBTQ community cancer, and a woman getting arrested for switching her locks on squatters. This definitely brought up a lot of good discussions.

It is about six students at school learning about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness from their teacher.

In April, Jessica Jagod (Downriver Moms for America) held their final Middle and High School Liberty Club of the year. They played a current events trivia game that educated the group in what is happening in school districts all over the country. The topics ranged from students getting suspended for asking a clarification question about an English assignment using the term, “illegal alien” to students walking out of their LGBTQ courses at school.

The next activity the group did was to read an article that had something to do with A.I. The three different articles available were about: ‘How England is using A.I. to determine outcomes in the judicial system’, ‘How the A.I. Ameca said we will be friendly with humans until we do not need them anymore’ and, ‘the UN holding a press conference with several A.I. trying to convince society that they are here to help humans’. The students encouraged Jessica with their understanding of why they need to stand up for freedom and not get caught up in the trappings of this world.

Jessica gave each student a Constitution, an American flag and a chocolate bar wrapped in an American flag.

Jessica’s hope is for these young adults to spend the summer volunteering in areas to help save our country. During the meeting, they played Constitution Jeopardy and current events trivia with prizes. They wrapped up their meeting discussing why they are voting for a candidate. Jessica’s emphasis for them was to know why they are voting for a candidate based on their policy views and not just name recognition.
